New date at O’Sullivan’s! Thursday, December 15 @ 8 PM. I had a great time when I played there last month, great staff and great people. So I can personally recommend coming out to O’Sullivan’s :)

EDIT: Never mind! O’Sullivan’s gig is canceled.

We’re going to try for this Sunday, October 9 at Reston Farm Market again. We’ll be there at noon, if it’s as nice and sunny out as it has been all week! BTW, Vinnie is going to sing and play guitar on a few songs with me, so definitely come out to see him if you can.

Here’s the info again:
10800 Baron Cameron Ave
Reston VA, 20190

Another new venue! I’ll be playing Dogfish Head Alehouse in Falls Church on Thursday, October 20 from 9-11:30. I can personally recommend Dogfish Head for its awesome food and drink. If you come out for the show, try the beer sampler!

Reston Farm Market gig today CANCELLED due to the rain. Vinnie and I will be playing TOMORROW at noon instead, depending on the weather. I’ll update this post tomorrow morning to confirm either way.

EDIT: Sorry, looks like we’re not playing Reston Farm Market today (Oct 2) either. We’ll reschedule for another weekend and hope for better weather.

New venue!! O’Sullivan’s Irish Pub in Herndon. Super excited about this one. I’ll be playing from 9:30-1:30 AM on Saturday, October 22. I’ve got about a month before then, so if you plan on coming out for this and have any requests, bring it on!

I will be playing at Reston Farm Market again this year! This is a fun outdoor event, especially for kids and families, with plenty of fall activities. I had a blast when I played there last year. They had a moonbounce, face painting, live farm animals, and a storyteller, as well as pumpkins and yummy fall treats for sale (fresh caramel apples, kettle corn, apple cider, etc.). I love this time of year!

Saturday October 1, 12 noon – 2 PM and Sunday October 16, 12 Noon – 2 PM.

Address:
10800 Baron Cameron Avenue
Reston, VA 20190

I have been telling several people and mentioning at my shows that I am working on an acoustic album. So I thought I’d share more about what I am planning.

This will be an album of my original songs done mainly with acoustic guitar/vocals or piano/vocals, with layers of vocal harmonies and guitars. My passion has always been electronic music, but I wanted to go in a different direction with this, as I have done so much solo acoustic performing that I feel this style is very much a part of me, too. I have at least one track that will also include violin, and possibly some other random things like a piano/flute duet that is at this stage just floating around in my head :)

I will be playing all the parts and recording them myself at home. Right now, I am in the process of arranging the songs and making “rough drafts” of what each part will sound like. I had wanted to start recording by now, but had some setbacks with my recording equipment. So I am trying to be patient, and working with what I have been given.

So far I have 9-10ish songs written. Some are older, some are very new. I’ll mention a few of the tracks I plan to include, in case you’re familiar with my songs from my live shows, my YouTube, or elsewhere: Headlines, The Mannequin (Stuck in a Window) (from OHC if you’re familiar with this), acoustic version of How to Feel Fine (from Flickerfall’s Delayed Reaction). So far the title I have in mind is “Departure.”

The Music Loft Jam Camp Concert was rained out in August and has been rescheduled for next Sunday, September 18. It will be at Herndon Green from 4:30-7:30. I will be going to support all the students who worked so hard during jam camp in the summer and are now getting to perform in a real rock concert! I will also be playing my acoustic set on the side stage, as they set up the main stage in between the bands.

New dates! Saturdays September 24 and October 8.

7-11 PM out on the patio, weather permitting, otherwise I’ll be inside.

Address: 2 Loudoun Street Southwest, Leesburg, VA 20175

As of right now, today’s show has been moved indoors to the King’s Court Tavern, from 9-1. If the weather gets really bad, we may cancel, but right now it doesn’t look bad at all. I will keep my Facebook page updated, so check there before you head out.
